Jill Wasson Account Executive (a.k.a Chief Solutions Officer) After more than five years with one of Houston's largest full-service ad agencies, Jill Wasson joined Communications Plus in search of a change of pace and an opportunity to dig in to strategy-driven integrated marketing. She brings a valuable perspective, different set of ideas and unique experiences to the Communications Plus team. Ms. Wasson's career started in Harvard Square at the House of Blues. There she assisted with special events and grassroots marketing. In search of warm weather and a hot job market, she relocated to Houston in 1998, and joined Kuhlmann, Lutz & Brown, a business-to-business ad agency. Wearing many different hats in this small agency allowed her to realize the power of direct marketing, which became her passion. Jill decided to give big agency life a try and moved to Fogarty Klein Monroe where she began as an Account Manager in the direct marketing division. Her skills in data analysis, implementing marketing data and ROI reporting were strengthened while working with Dell Computer and BMC Software. As a Senior Account Manager for Resort Condominiums International, she planned, managed and executed a variety of highly customized direct marketing tactics. Jill is a former President and Fundraising Chairman of Ad 2 Houston, board member of the Houston Advertising Federation, and member of the American Advertising Federation. In 2002, she was a featured speaker at the Houston Advertising Federation Student Conference where she offered students career advice and a glimpse into the working world. Ms. Wasson graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts, Boston with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology. She also studied Marketing at Loyola University, New Orleans. Raised in Alabama, born in Indiana, Jill's moving around may explain her favorite pastime of travel.
